The Georgia Volleyball Coaches Association (GVCA) aims to advance the sport of volleyball in Georgia by fostering an
inclusive volleyball community, providing ongoing professional development, serving as advocates at the local and
national level, and recognizing student-athlete and coaching accomplishments.
The GVCA is a proud member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Signature
Affiliate Program, designed to incentivize AVCA membership, advance the high school
volleyball community, and establish the AVCA as the official coaching education partner within
participating states.
OUR LOGO
The GVCA logo is a dynamic representation of our dedication to supporting coaches, athletes, and the Georgia volleyball
community. This fresh design captures the essence of GVCA’s mission and heralds a vibrant future for the sport of
volleyball in Georgia's high schools. The GVCA logo features multiple key elements that reflect the association's values:
 Volleyball Icon: At the heart of the logo is a stylized volleyball. This central element represents the passion and
dedication of high school volleyball coaches and student-athletes in Georgia.
 Volleyball Net: Positioned behind the volleyball, the net signifies the connection between committed players,
dedicated coaches, and the enthusiastic broader volleyball community. It emphasizes the GVCA's role in
fostering camaraderie and teamwork.
 Shield Style: The shield-style represents the competitiveness in Georgia volleyball while conveying unity and
strength through the GVCA's role as a valued AVCA Signature Affiliate Partner, a connection which grants all its
members dual membership in the GVCA and AVCA.
 State Outline: The integration of Georgia outline highlights the association's focus on serving the volleyball
community within the state and fostering local talent.
 Color Scheme: The continuation of the GVCA’s color palette carries significant meaning:
Ë— GVCA Red represents strength, determination and excitement, reflecting the fierce competitive spirit
and passion Georgia high school volleyball exemplifies.
Ë— GVCA Bright Blue signifies trust, loyalty, and wisdom, reflecting the GVCA’s role as a reliable resource
and support system for volleyball coaches.

 Modern Typography: The sleek, modern typography conveys forward-thinking and innovation. It reflects the

One Color Logos
Use the full-color versions whenever possible. However, there may be circumstances where it is necessary to produce
the logo in one color - such as when full-color logos do not sufficiently contrast with the background color, or where
production methods and materials require the use of a one-color logo. The one-color logo should never be produced in
any other single colors other than the ones shown in all-black and all-white.
